There was a night dedicated to Daphne Oram last night at Golden Pudel.
First we watched a documentary about the BBC Radiophonic Workshop called “The Alchemists of sound” which i highly recommend.
After that we had Charlotte Knabe and Nika Breithaupt playing Daphne Oram reissues and unreleased material over to other early electronics. Especially The 4xLP issue of “Oramics” by Daphne Oram sounded great played out loud on a club system.
